Remove
the "Display PDF in Browser" option
in Adobe
Adobe
created an "Internet" preference
in the new version of Acrobat Reader 6.0.
We at Country Hedging have noticed that Windows
XP and Acrobat 6.0 (or higher) users are NOT
able to download commentary, due to the new
version of Acrobat Reader. Until we come up
with a programming solution here is a temporary
fix.
Note:
In the following instructions, we ask you
to disable a preference in Adobe Acrobat.
This will not effect the viewing of other
PDF documents you choose to download from
the Internet.
Again,
if you have questions or concerns please call
(800) 814-0505.
1)
Open Adobe Acrobat 6.0 (or
higher)
2)
Go to Edit, and select Preferences.
3)
On the left margin is a list of preferences,
click on Internet.
4)
On the right, you will see a set of "Web
Browswer Options," disable the first
option by clicking on the "check mark"
next to Display PDF in Browser.
5)
Press OK, in the lower right
corner of this box and close out of Adobe
Acrobat Reader 6.0 (or higher). Return to
your Internet browser and try downloading
Country Hedging Commentary, again.
